Xiaomi’s steady rise in the electric vehicle market saw a slight slowdown in November. After the company announced that it had delivered over 40,000 vehicles, the full figures released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) showed that November marked Xiaomi’s first monthly decline.
Total Deliveries and First Decline
In November 2025, Xiaomi delivered a total of 46,249 vehicles. This figure represents a 4.94% decrease compared to the previous month, October. This decline marked Xiaomi’s first month-over-month decline in deliveries since July. From the beginning of the year to the end of November (January-November), Xiaomi’s total deliveries reached 361,625.
The star of the Xiaomi show was the YU7 SUV, launched in June. The model set a new record with 33,729 deliveries in November. This figure slightly exceeded the 33,662 deliveries in October, confirming the strong demand for the SUV. This growth of the YU7 appears to have come at the expense of the previously released SU7 sedan.
Xiaomi’s first electric sedan, the SU7 (including the SU7 Ultra), saw only 12,520 deliveries in November. This represents a significant 16.49% decrease compared to October. This represents the fourth consecutive month-over-month decline in deliveries for the SU7. This data clearly indicates that consumer interest has shifted to the YU7 SUV.
While the YU7 attracted considerable attention despite its later launch, the SU7 still led in total sales between January and November.
- SU7 Total Deliveries (January-November): 247,041 units
- YU7 Total Deliveries (January-November): 114,584 units
While Xiaomi has achieved success with its new SUV model, whether the decline in its first-generation SU7 is due to decreased demand or a shift in production to SUV models poses a significant question mark regarding the brand’s future strategies.
